This Thermoplastic AFO features a custom-made
polypropylene design. Available in three profile
designs (Posterior Leaf Spring, Semi-Solid, or Solid
Ankle), the Thermoplastic AFO supports, assists and
controls the joints of the foot and ankle.
CLINICAL INDICATIONS
- Drop foot (PLS)
- Weak or absent plantar
flexors and/or dorsi flexors
- Severe degenerative arthritis
- Lateral and medial instability of subtalar joint
- Trauma
- Stroke
- Hemiplegia
Note: When casting, use the Bermuda sock to ensure that cast goes up to the patient's knee.
