This Thermoplastic HAFO design is a custommade polypropylene hinged ankle foot orthosis for support and stabilization of the talocalcaneal, mid-tarsal, and subtalar joints. The HAFO, made with a Free Motion or Dorsi- Assist ankle joint, manages abnormal motion or severe pronation in the transverse and frontal planes. It also stabilizes the ankle area medially, laterally, and reduces either forefoot abduction or adduction.
